Larry and Janet Everitt have been cutting stones and doing silver and gold work for 20 years. They constantly strive to find unique rough and unusual stones to make designer, one-of-a-kind art jewelry. They are lapidaries ,designing and cutting their own stones, and also enjoy setting beautifully cut stones. The advantage of being a lapidary is that stones can be improved and re-cut for individual designs.
The Everitt’s designs are elegant, simple and highly polished with attention to detail focusing on a glowing piece of fine art jewelry, resulting in a large following of satisfied return customers around the world.

In 1990, Larry and Janet Everitt purchased the Godber Turquoise Mine and moved to Austin, Nevada creating a retail gem and mineral shop (Toiyabe Blue Turquoise) specializing in mining Nevada turquoise, and also rock hounding blue chalcedony and other Nevada minerals, doing their own lapidary, silversmithing and wirewrapping.
In 1998, the Everitt’s sold 3 of the 4 Godber claims to Bruce and Jeri Woods, keeping the 4th claim for themselves, leaving Austin, Nevada to open a gallery in the resort art town of Idyllwild, CA in the San Jacinto Mountains above Palm Springs (1998 to present 2010). They also formerly and simultaneously had a gallery for 2 years on the prestigious
